For the examination of insurance claims, it may sometimes be necessary to discuss cost estimates from craftsmen. PropertyExpert receives these cost estimates from the insurance companies.

To discuss the cost estimates, PropertyExpert contacts the craftsmen who provided the estimates. In this process, the following personal data is processed:

This system records your phone number and claim number and forwards this information with a callback request to the responsible employee.

Data Transfer to Third Countries

The automatic call handling system Parloa operates in the Microsoft Azure cloud within a data center in the EU. Although all reasonable measures have been taken to ensure data protection, it cannot be ruled out that, in exceptional cases, access to the caller’s and recipient’s phone numbers from outside the EU may be possible.

When You Contact PropertyExpert as a Service Provider

Most of our service providers designate one of their employees as a contact person for PropertyExpert GmbH. The contact details of these representatives are processed as follows:

There is no obligation to provide this data. The processing is not strictly necessary for the service/delivery. However, without designated contacts, the coordination effort would be disproportionately high and the risk of misunderstandings would be significant. Therefore, there is a legitimate interest in this processing.

After completion of the assignment, newsletters are sent at longer intervals to the provided email addresses. These newsletters contain important information for property damage insurers and current offers from PropertyExpert GmbH. You may unsubscribe from these newsletters at any time, without any costs except for standard transmission fees.

 

When PropertyExpert Receives Data About Affected Policyholders

PropertyExpert does not require personal data of affected persons to process claims. However, it cannot be ruled out that PropertyExpert may become aware of such data—for example, names and addresses of the affected parties may appear on a craftsman’s cost estimate.

PropertyExpert stores all submitted documents, which may also include personal data contained in these documents.

When You Apply to PropertyExpert

Applicants can submit their application by paper, email, or via PropertyExpert’s career portal. You may also reach our application forms through job postings on Facebook. The processing of your submitted data is done using the HR Puls recruiting and personnel management system.
